Central Studio Hotel Sydney

The location of the hotel is perfect, only a few minutes walking from Central station. The rooms was quiet and clean and the staff very friendly. We managed to check in a bit earlier and also check out a bit later. The AC was working very well and was not noisy at all. We couldn't open the windows to get some fresh air and the ventilation in the bathroom was not great, so the towels couldn't dry properly.

Well-appointed room. Considerate, polite & and well-spoken reception staff. With the room, two concerns made my visit unpleasant. 1. Unsightly yellow staining inside bathroom hand basin. A scourer & GUMPTION will remove that. 2. My room was a king-size bed. It was simply two singles on wheels joined together but NOT secured. During my sleep, I had rolled over, and the 2 separated & I fell between them both. Very sleepless night indeed. Highly suggest securing them on their base or legs when offering king bed accommodation.

This has been the worst hotel I have ever stayed I stayed five nights in this hotel and there were no any house keeping service provided at all. It is ridiculous that customers needs to put their room rubbish out of the corridor for cleaners to pickup. The hotel feels old and dirty. Carpet is cracked and dirty marks can be seen along the hotel floor. Customers service was also horrible. I requested late checkout and the staff didn’t follow up my request. At the checkout date, the staff entered my room asking me to leave and sweared at me. This is unacceptable and the hotel double charged my late checkout fees. The hotel didn’t have free parking requiring the guests to pay for it The air conditioning in this hotel is rubbish, the air con was really noisy and not cold at all. No toothbrush and no slippers was provided Overall this has been the worst experience I have ever had in my life when comes to staying in a hotel. I do not recommend anyone booking this hotel unless you wanted to torture yourself and have a unpleasant trip in Sydney.

Upon booking and not having quite an impression of the review, we gave it a go because it's situated in a prime location(opposite Central Station). The outcome was a wonderful experience beyond our expectations. The manager on shift 8/12/23 at 1500 hrs, Sohrab, and the lady staff: Daria was a professional, positive attitude, helpful, and had a great customer service mind. We enjoyed our stay, the Superb King Delux on the 6th floor was tidy and the bed was fantastic. Thank you from Mona and Bill.
